so, my project is about the Maumee River. this river is in Toledo, OH. i am researching about the history, and what the river has done for the city of toledo and the surrounding cities. doing this will let me see what toledo’s past was like, and what we as citizens can do to preserve the river. preserving the Maumee river will save history for the future of toledo. as i look into toledo’s history i realize that every river seems to tell a story, weather its of war, or just simply of industrialization, but it nonetheless tells a story.
